For those who follow professional wrestling either now or back in the 80s, the name Ted DiBiase will surely ring a bell. Ted DiBiase Sr. wrestled under the moniker “The Million Dollar Man” and his son, Ted DiBiase Jr. just goes by Ted DiBiase and is one of the rising stars of World Wrestling Entertainment. Like many of the WWE’s stars such as Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Kane and John Cena, DiBiase has branched out into film work, with his first role in a feature film as the lead in The Marine 2, which arrives on DVD and Blu-ray on December 29. I had the chance to speak with DiBiase over the phone about his feature film debut, and here’s what he had to say.

Today is the day! The Marine II is out. For the UK, they have to wait until april 19th. 

Six Man Tag Match: Legacy (Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, & Randy Orton) vs. Degeneration X (Shawn Michaels and Hunter Hearst Helmsley) & Kofi Kingston

Nice, long tag match with some comedy spots including Shawn Michaels pantsing DiBiase. This led to Randy Orton bailing out of the ring to hide his head in shame. While he was doing so, HHH snuck up behind him and pantsed him as well. The fans went crazy and it looked like Legacy was going to head back to the dressing room. When the match resumed, Legacy worked over Kofi for most of the match until he made the hot tag. Ted DiBiase found himself in the ring alone against DX and Kofi and got hit with all of their finishers. Michaels sealed the deal by covering DiBiase for the pin.

WINNER: DX & Kofi Kingston (Michaels pins DiBiase).

Legacy vs. Primo & Evan Bourne

Before the match Cody said how the fans may boo them but on Tuesday they all will be lining up to buy Ted DiBiase’s new movie “Marine 2”. Bourne got a big pop when he was introduced. Primo’s pants seemed to be big on him. Bourne hit a lot of drop kicks. Bourne sold a clothesline by DiBiase very well and the crowd let out a big gasp at the way Evan landed. Cody tried to hit a moonsault but missed Evan and hurt his groin. Ted appeared to be laughing at Cody who was down for about 30 seconds or more. The finish came when Bourne missed Cody when he jumped out of the ring and DiBiase hit Dream Street for the win. Match went over 10 minutes.

Legacy has dropped from 11 to 14 this week. Such a pity.

Santa granted someone’s wish a little bit early this year with The Legacy being put in their place by Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne and Mark Henry on Monday night.
